Citylife Global

Pray.
Connect.
Give.
Go.

Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations”. This means living on mission in our own community as well as supporting and championing those who have left their home country to take the love and message of Jesus to other nations around the world. Specifically, for Citylife, we do this through a committed relationship with fieldworkers that God has led us to partner with. We don’t take this lightly and strive to give our best by praying consistently, giving financially, and going on short-term trips to connect and support. By doing what is within our ability, we get to encourage and release field workers to do all that God is calling them to do.

King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 11:24, “The world of the generous gets larger and larger” (MSG). Our generous and long-term involvement in global missions has stretched our world in so many amazing ways. To be connected to different nations and have the opportunity to travel and work alongside those we embrace as family is an incredible blessing. We share their highs and their lows. We get to experience different cultures. We get to see what God is doing beyond our own backyard. Global missions is in the DNA of Citylife Church and we love it!

Who We Support

  • Andrew & Maija Thomas

Andrew and Maija have planted an urban church reaching young professionals in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There are very few Christians among this population in Cambodia and they hold the key to the future of the nation. These young people are largely secular but tied to family traditions. The Together Co is seeing young people break away from worldly ambitions to serve Jesus. It’s a slow process of genuine disciple-making and leadership development which is both significant and exciting.

  • Matt & Nana

Matt and Nana are engaged in one of the great nations of the world focused on leadership development, urban church support, and cross-cultural ministry training. Matt is teaching at a local university and the family is building relationships in their local community as well as engaging in regional and national opportunities. The work in this Nation requires tenacity, courage, and creativity. It is such a privilege to partner with Matt and Nana in this challenging work.

  • Paul & Deborah Hilton

Paul and Deb are still involved in AoG World Relief Vietnam but have handed the leadership of that organisation to the Windsors. They are focused now on field support, and the Flourish and Courageous personal development programs, and the promotion of World Missions within our movement. As senior field workers their influence is far ranging and their support is very fruitful in the lives of ACC international field workers.

  • Projects

Each year, Citylife Church commits to giving to global projects run by ACCI field workers around the world. These projects include raising money for community development programs focused on whole-life transformation for individuals, families, and communities. Other projects help field workers to resource and multiply church planting for the spread of the gospel. This is a great opportunity to help ACCI field workers make things happen that they didn’t have the resources to do on their own.

As a church, we focus our project giving in the second half of the year. However, if you want to see the different projects needing funding and wish to contribute now, see the link below.
